We have been working on the gardens and lawn once again this spring. One of the River Birches in front needed to be taken down.

The increased light has allowed the lupines, among other plants to flourish.

Our hillside monarch garden remains a loving work in progress.
Patio Furniture
We now have patio furniture on both patios. A set of 2 Adirondack chairs on the small patio and a set of 4 for the larger patio, complete with foot stools and tables.

After much delay our new comfortable, sturdy dining chairs, ceiling light and floor lamp are ready for use.

The kitchen cabinets now have frosted glass panels and are lite up from inside. This provides lovely ambient lighting in the evening.

The new owners of Nestlenook are offering carriage rides this summer on Friday and Saturdays from 3 -8 pm. Check out their website for details and updates. https://nestlenookfarmsleighrides.com Sleigh rides will continue in the winter as previously. Our guests receive a discount for Sleigh and Carriage rides.

We were impressed by the elegance and comfort of our stay at the Victorian Manor in Jackson! The house sits on the top of a knoll accessed through the Nestlenook property, providing both a convenient location and welcome reprieve from the bustling vacation crowds. Upon arrival, we were able to watch the Jackson July 4th fireworks from the bottom of the old driveway without having to go anywhere else. The house itself is stunningly decorated and it is clear that the owners take great pride in its upkeep. It is divided into several sections, making it ideal for groups of people traveling together or a family reunion (which was our occasion). The downstairs left suite also has a very large kitchen, den area, and breakfast nook which was perfect for socializing as a whole group. In addition, the upstairs game room inspired several games of pool and pinball, and the whole house music system was a nice touch. The view from both the breakfast nook and the upstairs bedrooms is gorgeous! My family has been vacationing in New Hampshire for many years now, and with our expanding family size this manor will likely become our new go-to place. Highly recommended! J Jones
